Republic Day 2023

Republic Day 2023 :

We celebrate Republic day as a tribute to the ideals of democracy and freedom. The first step towards the realization of this ideal was taken in 1950 when our country became a republic.

We have been celebrating this day since 1950. Republic day is an important day for all Indians to celebrate their freedom, equality, and fraternity.

The idea behind celebrating this day was to reaffirm our commitment to the principles of liberty and equality, whose realization was long delayed by centuries of alien rule.

Republic Day is the national day of India. It is celebrated on 26 January every year to commemorate the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect and also to celebrate the democratic ideals of the country. It is a public holiday in India.

The celebrations are held at various locations across the country, with many people participating in them by wearing a national dress and performing cultural shows.

The occasion is commemorated with a grand parade in New Delhi through Rajpath, which showcases the might of the Indian military along with fireworks and huge flyovers.

Below are some inspiring Republic Day quotes that will motivate you to learn more about India and its rich culture:

~ "India is a land of diverse faiths and cultures, where people live together with mutual respect and tolerance."

~ "The Indian Constitution has been so well crafted that it is a living document, which has evolved with time."

~ "There cannot be democracy without freedom; there cannot be freedom without democracy."
