 Easy Vegetables To Grow In Pot : 


1. Tomato 


 Tomato is our first preference. As it is sweet and sour . Tomato seeds are sown in the month of October and November . You can grow tomato seeds in big pot or in kitchen garden or any other container . It loves well drained , moist and clayey soil . You can plant these seeds in cocopeat . 

2. Green chilli 

Green chilli plant is one of the easiest vegetable plant to grow . This is the main vegie we use in our home . It needs the pot which is 12 inch wide and 16 inch length of the pot . Green chilli loves well drained , soil which is enriched with nutrients and cocopeat . You can plant these seeds in cocopeat mix . 

3. Coriander or parsley 


Coriander is one of the most useable vegetable which we use in our kitchen . It can take 3-4 days to germinate and also very easiest growing vegetable . You can also grow coriander in a small width pot . You can also grow this Vegetable with hydroponics system . When these vegetable seen to be mature cut their leaves and use it in your kitchen . 

4. Methi ( Fenugreek ) 

Methi is also very popular in India . There are many dishes made with Fenugreek (methi) like ; Potato Fenugreek , Fenugreek parantha , methi pakora , etc
Methi grows well in small pot which has 12 inch length. It grows in all type of soils except : sandy soil . 

5. Lettuce ( salad leaves ) 


Lettuce is one of the most usable in salad . Every salad has lettuce . There was no taste of salad without the lettuce 🥬 . It grows well in moist soil like clayey soil . It also needs small pot and very easy to grow.

Always grow all kind of seeds in the seedling mix. 
You can make this seedling mix at home : 
50% COCOPEAT
50% VERMICOMPOST 
Use this seedling mix to grow healthy
 plant.

It should help  pollinators to pollinate buds .   Requirement of soil : Plants always well grown in nutrient rich soil . You can easily identify which soil is benefecial for plants . By pressing soil in your hand , then throw it from the height of 1 ft. , if the ball made by pressing it with hand is crumbled into tiny pieces .
